The red finder scope is original to the telescope. It does not need to be cleaned.

ALL power and auxiliary ports work perfectly. The mounting base it rests on was chipped the side and, so, I have used an aggressive agent to keep firmly mounted tube. The original front dust cover fits securely to the aperture and does not come off. ALL buttons light up evenly.
I would state it to be in very excellent condition for its age. Even on a hot day it will not flex. The motors tracks very quietly and when slewing, do not jerk, resist, pause, or squeal. NO dents or gashes.
Remember, it takes A LOT of dust to actually affect the optics. The drives and gearing are not as heavy-duty built those seen in the older GPS newer Evolution model's, but more than adequate for this size of optical tube. Yes, these model's mentioned used the Nexstar handsets and much of go-to platforms, but they are completely different telescopes assemblies. Instead, these I series units featured a star button and RATE.
Packed with EXTREME care and respect to the mount so that it is properly levitated in shipping box. The top-side of the corrector is very excellent clean.
